Yes, it is possible to add a buy it now option to an auction item. The Buy Now option is available in the item edit form. Participants can purchase this item immediately at the Buy Now price. Select the Buy Now option and complete the required fields when creating or editing an item.
If Pay Now is enabled, participants must complete payment immediately when purchasing an item using Buy Now, even if the auction is still open. If Pay Now is disabled, participants can still use Buy Now, but payment will be collected after the auction closes.
Buy Now After an Auction Closes
If an auction item does not sell, participants can continue to purchase it using the Buy Now option after the auction has closed.
This applies to auction items where:
1. Buy Now is enabled and there are remaining units available.
2. The highest bid did not meet the item's reserve price.
This feature is enabled by default for all auction items with Buy Now enabled.
If you do not want participants to purchase an item after the auction has closed, you can disable the Buy Now toggle in the item's edit form.
